Part-Time Field Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunication networks and fiber optic systems in various field locations. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fiber splicing, cable routing, and network installation at multiple job sites, ensuring adherence to safety standards and technical specifications
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and other networking equipment to maintain reliable connectivity
  • Conduct field service tasks including testing, diagnosing, and repairing telecommunication systems using hand tools and testing devices such as ohmmeters
  • Manage low voltage wiring, Ethernet cabling, telephony systems, and mechanical components involved in network infrastructure projects
  • Utilize technical knowledge of electrical systems and telecommunication principles to resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Document all work performed through detailed reports, including inspections, repairs, and system configurations
  • Collaborate with team members to plan installation layouts, coordinate project timelines, and ensure customer satisfaction

Warehouse - Shipping and Receiving

Position Overview

UBS Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our client's growing team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring warehouse operations run safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining a strong commitment to accuracy and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided if applicable).
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, shipping & receiving, or inventory experience is a MUST!
  • Forklift Certified is a Plus!
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
